Ge Chao (Born 1957) is active/lives in China.  Ge Chao is known for Painting.

Chao Ge was born in Jan. 1957 and he is a Mongolian. He is good at oil painting. He graduated from the Department of Oil Painting in China Central Academy of Fine Arts. He was a teacher in the Department of Fine Arts in Inner Mongolia Normal University and now he is teaching in China Central Academy of Fine Arts. He once participated in national art exhibitions for many times. His works include Extremist, Man with Glasses, Wild Field and Model and so on. He went to the countryside of Inner Mongolia in 1976. He worked in the first studio in China Central Academy of Fine Arts in 1988 and created Atmosphere and Utmost to participate in Oil Painting Body Art Exhibition. During 1989 to 1990 his works participated in exhibitions in Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan and Singapore. In 1989 he participated in Modern Chinese Painting Exhibition in US and began to create Wide Scenery and Red Light and other works. Red Light was collected by Hong Kong University Museum later on.
