Ping Yan

Ping Yan (Born 1956) is active/lives in China.  Ping Yan is known for Painting.

Yan Ping was born in Jian, Shangdong province. After graduating from Shandong Academy of Art, she studied at the Central Academy of Fine Arts until 1991. Since then she has exhibited nationally and internationally, receiving many awards including: silver medal at “The 2nd Annual Exhibition of Chinese Paintings”, 1993; the Invitational Exhibition of Chinese Female Painters, Beijing, 1995; silver medal in “The 3rd Annual Oil Painting Exhibition”; “The Contemporary Oil Painting Exhibition” at the Museum of Hong Kong University; “The Nine Painters Exhibition”, Beijing,1997; “The Invitation Exhibition of International Fine Arts”, Qingdao, 2001 and “The 9th National Art Exhibition”. In 2003 her solo exhibition toured Beijing, Hong Kong and Singapore. More than one hundred of her works have been collected by private collectors in China and abroad, including the Art Gallery of China and some overseas museums.
