Yongzhen Li

Yongzhen Li (1898 - 1998) was active/lived in China.  Yongzhen Li is known for Landscape painting.

Li Yongzhen was born in Changshu, Jiangsu Province in 1898. He graduated from Suzhou Fine Arts College in 1924. 

From the end of 20's to the beginning of 50's, he served as art editor for the Pacific Ocean Pictorial, professor at Shanghai Fine Arts College, Vice-President of Shanghai Branch Campus of Suzhou Arts College, and others.  He established the Chinese Industry and Commerce Artists Association.

He is a member of the Chinese Artists Association, the Honorary Chairman of Shanghai Water Color Research Academy, the scholar of Shanghai Culture and History Museum.

In 1988, Shanghai Art Museum held the"Li Yongsen and Shao Liangyun Water Color Exhibition", and Li was awarded the prize of the Shanghai Culture Bureau.   ...  [Displaying 784 of 1025 characters.]  Artist bio
