Meisun Zhang

Meisun Zhang (1884 - 1973) was active/lived in China.  Meisun Zhang is known for Painting.

Zhang Meisun was born in Hai Ning of Zhe Jiang province in 1894.  Zhang Meisun is a modern artist and one member of early cartoon association.  During his youth, he learned painting from Zhou Xiang.  In 1918 he helped Zhou Xiang to establish the Chinese Fine Art Correspondence School, Da Hua Fine Art Company and Shang Hai Fine Art Painting Association successively.

Zhang Meisun became an editor of Xue Lin Bookstore, New Fine Art Book Concern and Shang Hai People Fine Art Publishing House.  In 1963 three books of Meisun Watercolor Paintings Temporary Collection were published by He Bei People Publishing House.
