Lalo Sanchez del Valle was born in 1968 in Mexico City, Mexico.  He started his career in a self-taught way, later he entered the National School of Fine Arts in Paris, as well as Parsons School of Design in New York.  He was invited by the Embassy of Mexico in Hungary, in collaboration with the Cervantes Institute of Budapest, to carry out the exhibition "Turning the inside out" in 2017.  His work has been exhibited collectively and individually in galleries and culture centers in Mexico, the United States, Poland, Austria and Slovakia.As its title indicates, this work is a tribute to the iconic work of the Dutch painter Johannes Vermeer, also known as "Girl with a Turban", one of the masterpieces that although it was made around the year 1665 continues to fascinate and inspire.
