Luis Gordillo (Born 1934) is active/lives in Spain.  Luis Gordillo is known for Abstract painting.

Luis Gordillo is a Spanish artist born in Seville. He studied law before enrolling in the School of Fine Arts and later traveled to Paris where he became interested in the work of Jean Fautrier and Jean Dubuffet. Gordillo's work evolved from abstract art to Madrid figuration, influenced by Francis Bacon and American Pop. 

He temporarily left painting to focus on automatic drawing, which he exhibited in 1971 in Madrid, inspiring a new generation of artists. Gordillo's work continued to evolve in the 80s and 90s, standing between figuration and postmodern abstraction. He has received numerous awards, including the National Prize of Plastic Arts and the Velázquez Prize for Plastic Arts.
