Francisco Farreras (1927 - 2021) was active/lived in Spain.  Francisco Farreras is known for Painting, collage, mosaics and stained-glass design.

Francisco Farreras (b. 1927) Spanish painter, mosaicist and stained-glass designer, noted especially for his abstract collages, was born in Barcelona, on the 7th of September, 1927. At the end of the Spanish Civil War, Farreras and his family moved to Murcia where he began to study the basics of painting in the studio of the painter Antonio Gómez Cano (1940). He attended evening courses of painting and drawing in the School of Arts and Crafts in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Canary Islands,  under the tutelage of Prof. Mariano de CossÌo (1941). Farreras entered the School of Fine Arts of San Fernando in Madrid from which he graduated in 1949 with the degree of Professor of Painting and Drawing.

He made various trips to further studies in Paris, Belgium, Holland and London from 1952 to 1954.  ?1954 marked the beginning of his professional career through the participation in many collective shows and individual exhibitions in both Spain and France.
