Shorty Killiktee

Shorty Killiktee (1949 - 1993) was active/lived in Canada.  Shorty Killiktee is known for Inuit sculpture.

Shorty Killiktee began carving in the 1960s.  Born in Kimmirut, he lived for extended periods in Cape Dorset as well.  He is probably best known for his impressive birds and caribou; four of his works were included in the Masters of the Arctic exhibition, which toured the world in the 1990s.
