Frederico Aires

Frederico Aires (1887 - 1963) was active/lived in Portugal.  Frederico Aires is known for Colorful paintings of soft environments at dawn or dusk.

Frederico Aires was a contemporary painter from Portugal who was a disciple of Carlos Reis. He was known for his excellent use of color, creating soft environments wrapped in the mists of dawn or dusk. He was awarded the 2nd medal in painting at the National Society of Fine Arts and participated in exhibitions held there since 1910. His works can be found at the Lisbon City Museum, the Grão Vasco Museum in Viseu, and in some private collections.
