While a student at Columbia University, Homer Eddins was an artist and illustrator for
The Jester
, credited as the oldest humor magazine in the nation. His peer artists, also contributors, included Lynd Ward.
Eddins also acted and sang in the 1924 Columbia Varsity shows, including a production of Half Moon Inn.
Eddins graduated in 1925 from Columbia.
Eddins lived in Pelham Manor, suburban New York, in the 1930s, and took part in an exhibition sponsored by the Westchester Arts and Crafts Guild in 1932. Two years later he was one of 40 artists included in an exhibition sponsored by the Manor Club in Pelham.
