Tomasz Tatarczyk

Tomasz Tatarczyk (1947 - 2010) was active/lived in Poland.  Tomasz Tatarczyk is known for Landscape painting.

He divided his life between Warsaw and his house near Kazimierz. Nature and landscape were his natural environment and inspiration. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, and previously graduated from the University of Technology. His work is the result of careful observation of motifs selected from the environment and repeated many times: closed gates, roads, hills, ravines, water and boats floating on its surface or dogs wading in it. Since 1984, he has collaborated with the Foksal Gallery in Warsaw. 

His works have been presented at many individual exhibitions, including: in: Galeria Foksal, BWA gallery in Lublin, Galeria Awangarda in Wroclaw, State Art Gallery in Sopot, Galeria 86 in Lódz, Galeria Zacheta in Warsaw, Soho Center for Visual Arts in New York, Galerie Ucher, Cologne. He participated in numerous collective exhibitions. In 1999, he won the Grand Prix of the International Drawing Competition in Wroclaw.
