James Osorio (Born 1952) is active/lives in California.  James Osorio is known for Plein air landscape painting.

A painter for over twenty-five years, James Osorio (b. 1952) holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from California State University, Los Angeles.  He has also studied with California plein air masters Mario Rueda and Karl Dempwolf.

Influenced by his teachers and the California impressionists of the last century, Osorio has been working in the plein air style for the past eleven years.

Osorio was awarded a one-man show from the Orange County Center For Contemporary Art and has exhibited at the Newport Art Museum as well as in galleries throughout California.

His work hangs in private collections from California to New York.
