Harold Gaze

Harold Gaze (1884 - 1963) was active/lived in California / New Zealand, England.  Harold Gaze is known for Children's book illustration.

Born in Christchurch, New Zealand on Aug. 30, 1884, Gaze studied art in England and appears to have settled in southern California in the early 1920s.  While a resident of Pasadena, he was the author-illustrator of several children's books and worked for Disney Studios for many years.  About 1959 he left Pasadena for England where he remained until his demise in October 1963.
