Gurvich Iosif Mikhailovich

Gurvich Mikhailovich (1907 - 1992) is known for Painting.

Painter, graphic artist, muralist, Honored Artist of the RSFSR. 

In 1921-1925, first at the art school of R. Reingbald, then at art courses with Yu.R. Bershadsky, and in 1925-1930 - at the Odessa Art Institute under Theodore.B. Fraerman. 

Since 1929 he was a member of the Association of Revolutionary Art of Ukraine (ARMU). In 1930-1932 he was a teacher at the Odessa Art Institute, in 1932 he moved to Moscow and devoted himself to creative work. 

In 1942-1945 - in the army. After the Great Patriotic War, he taught in groups of disabled war artists and at the same time at the Children's Art School (1946-1967).
