Thomas Lammers, who was born in 1980, studied the Bachelor of Arts in Plastic Arts at the University of the Americas, Puebla. He has exhibited his work in Mexico, Argentina, United States, Spain and Cuba. In Thomas Lammers' work we can appreciate his interest in creating a link between the organic and the industrial. In its process it initially traces intuitive forms, which are perceived as organic and at the same time abstract that flow from their hand and then subject them to industrial processes such as router or laser cuts to materials commonly used in the construction industry such as corian and steel stainless. The contrast between these materials characterized by their solidity and resistance with the raised forms, results in an ethereal game of solid surfaces, shadows, spaces and voids.
