Alexandre de Cabanyes (1877 - 1972) was active/lived in Spain.  Alexandre Cabanyes is known for Romantic style paintings, seascapes, landscapes.

Alexandre de Cabanyes was born into a family of painters in Vilanova i la Geltrú, Spain. He studied at the School of Arts and Crafts and the Artistic Circle of Sant Lluc in Barcelona and was influenced by the Catalan landscape school. 

Cabanyes exhibited his works in various exhibitions in Barcelona, Paris, Munich, and Montevideo, and was recognized for his talent. He was named favourite son of Vilanova i la Geltrú in 1957 and was awarded the Encomienda de Alfonso X el Sabio in 1972. 

His works can be found in various museums in Spain.
