Zel Talbert

Zel Eugene Talbert (1869 - 1954) was active/lived in California, Ohio.  Zel Talbert is known for Miniature painter.

Born in West Elkton, Ohio on July 14, 1869.  Talbert lived in his native city until the late 1890s.  Leaving Ohio, he was in Hatchita, New Mexico in 1900, Western Colorado in 1902, and arrived in southern California in 1906.  After settling in Los Angeles, he was active there as a miniature portraitist.  He died in Taft, California on March 17, 1954.  Member:  Painters & Sculptors of Los Angeles.
