Tong Yu, also known as Puyan, Yizi Shu, Erru, Ershu, also known as Jie'an, Ershushanren, Shudaoren, Meidaoren, Meichi, Yueshu, Taiping Cike, Baimashanzhang. , a native of Shaoxing, Zhejiang. 

He specialized in ancient poetry and prose when he was young, and was one of the "Seven Sons of Yuezhong". He was also good at seal cutting and cursive writing.
