Park Sung-min's so-called 'Ice Capsule' series has various meanings. First of all, what the artist is paying attention to is the ‘originality of matter’. Matter is usually composed of a cycle of three states (base-liquid-solid), and Sungmin Park seems to metaphorically imply our behavioral patterns in the unique properties of these substances.

For example, ‘liquid is organic thinking, solid is fixed memory, gas is the existence of oblivion’, etc. However, if you look closely at his works, you can easily find one thing in common.
