Robert Seabeck is a Wyoming native whose art career began at age twelve. A photo-realist landscape painter who sometimes includes abstract elements, Robert Seabeck is a wildlife and floral painter who often expresses the diverse aspects of his subjects by creating a montage of images that combine panoramic landscape views with details of animals and nature within that landscape. One of his subjects is Yellowstone National Park.

He was born in Casper, Wyoming. He earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts at California State in Long Beach and a Master of Fine Arts Degree at the University of Wyoming in 1976.

He has also worked with etchings, monotypes and three-dimensional works. A large public sculpture of eighteen landing Canada Geese was commissioned by the city of Cheyenne.
