Lex McFadyen (Born 1958) is known for Painting.

Note: Lex McFadyen is a Scottish painter who graduated from the Glasgow School of Art with a degree in sculpture before embarking on a career as a fashion designer. Known to many for his fashion designs and couture ranges, Lex returned to painting in 2002. Throughout this time, he has gained a growing following who have collected his portraits, sculptures and atmospheric skyscapes. His move to France has encouraged a shift to still lifes inspired by the colours and beauty to his French surroundings. In recent years, Lex has been forced to experiment with colour after a brain haemorrhage caused him to 'forget' how to mix the colours he had previously used. Re-evaluating the point of colour and his approach to painting, Lex's work seeks a new level of vibrancy and interpretation, painting more freely with more ...
