Jozef Marek was a Polish artist who studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow. He actively participated in the artistic life of Poland, taking part in several hundred exhibitions of Polish art in Poland and abroad. He belonged to various artistic groups and was an expert at the Ministry of Culture and Art for sculpture. He also worked as a professor at the Faculty of Architecture and the Faculty of Interior Architecture. Marek is known for his sculptures and monuments.
