Jirapat Tatsanasomboon (Born 1971) is active/lives in Thailand.  Jirapat Tatsanasomboon is known for Painting.

Jirapat Tatsanasomboon is one of the most important mid-career Thai artists to emerge in recent years.  His paintings draw on the rich symbolism inherent in the characters of the Ramakien, based on the Indian epic Ramayana, and pairs and juxtaposes it with contemporary pop art.  There are always interactions of east versus west and modern versus traditional in his paintings.

His works were recently shown in Singapore in the Andy Warhol exhibition - Andy Warhol: 15 Minutes Eternal, and he is included as the only Thai artist in the recently published book by Thames & Hudson: 100 Painters of Tomorrow.
