Jian Zhang (Born 1972) is active/lives in China.  Jian Zhang is known for Painting.

Zhang Jian was born in 1972 in Shanghai.  He got his bachelor and master degree of Department of Chinese Painting in Nanjing University of The Arts in 1995 and 1999 respectively.  He is now the professor and vice chairman of Academy of Fine Arts of Shanghai University.

He got the doctoral degree of China Art Research Institute in 2008.  His research area is the study and Creation of Chinese Gongbi Painting.  He is now the Vice Director of China Art Research Institute.
