Hongatao Tu (Born 1976) is active/lives in China.  Hongatao Tu is known for Painting.

Tu Hung-Tao was born in Chengdu, Sichuan, and received Art Award from Lee Chung Sheng Foundation.  Tu now lectures at the Design and Art Department of Chengdu University.  In his works, Tu insists on traditional skills of painting reality.  It starts off from real feeling in life, and then creates surrealistic environment and picture.  In Tu's early paintings, he put void city and lonely figures together to stand out modern cities' oppression to human beings, also emphasizing human's helplessness in big cities.
