Guzman's work is currently in leading public and private collections in Mexico, the United States, Germany, the United Kingdom, Belgium, Israel, Spain, Greece, Venezuela and Argentina. By his own conviction, he has kept out of fashions and groups. However, his work has always been well received by the Mexican and foreign public deserving praise from personalities such as Fernando Botero, José Luis Cuevas and Ricardo Martínez. In 2017 his work was included in the important exhibition "Art in life, a life in art", where he shared credits with work by Julio Galán, Eduardo Tamariz, Arturo Rivera, and Martha Pacheco.
