David Toner

David Toner (Born 1944) is active/lives in Scotland.  David Toner is known for Mixed media images of apartment buildings, collages, teaching.

Painter, collagist and teacher, born in Glasgow, where he settled. He was educated partly there and partly in Changi, Singapore, and studied at Glasgow School of Art under David Donaldson and James Robertson in mid-1970s.

Showed at Royal Glasgow Institute of the Fine Arts, RSW and RSA and had a series of solo shows, including Studio Nis in Lewis, 1977–9, and Corners Gallery, Glasgow, 1982–3. Strathclyde University and Comhairle Nan Eilean hold examples. ?
