From the age of 5 years old, he draws his first essays that he will perfect at the Beaux-Arts in Marseille, very quickly Claude begins a life of painter. His character traits and his audacity are very widely expressed in his paintings and he naturally joins the Expressionist movement.

His talents of colorist will make that in the middle of the initiated he is nicknamed "the painter of the light"

His compositions are born of his permanent spiritual search for the world in which we live. He fixes on his canvases images of a strong intensity between realism and abstraction. Virtuoso colors, he does not need to play with chiaroscuro effects to make his paintings bright. The light that springs up is simply magical and mysterious. His compositions are in perpetual motion, he alone has the secret of this pictorial perfection.
