Carlo Cope 2

Carlo Fernando Cope 2 (Born 1968) is active/lives in New York.  Carlo Cope 2 is known for Graffiti art.

Cope2 started graffiti in NYC and became known thanks to his "throw-up" inspired by Cap (see the movie Style Wars).  He soon emerged as the "King of line 4," one that he painted the most and the best.  Cope2 was very active in the years 1980 - 1990.

Cope2 is recognized by all as the final ambassador of graffiti in New York.  Today, the artist paints and lives his art.  It was the subject of several documentaries, biographies that were devoted to him. His reputation is such that his works appear in the third installment of the movie "Shrek" and in the video game "Grand Theft Auto IV".  Cope2 also became one of the characters of "Marc Ecko's Getting Up: Contents Under pressure ".
