Biyi Hou

Biyi Hou (mid 20th century) was active/lived in China.  Biyi Hou is known for Painting.

Hou Biyi (1900-2003), a native of Wuxi, Jiangsu. Born in a famous family, she is the great-granddaughter of Hou Tong, the servant of the Qing Officials. Origins and family learning, young joy Danqing, from Wu Guandai, Sun Hanya travel. In 1926, he married Fei Zibin in Shanghai. In the mid-40s, Zhang Daqian, a teacher of Dafengtang, worked on feathers and flowers, calligraphy to take Chu Huang, and also to make a small block. After the establishment of the Shanghai Academy of Chinese Painting, she was the first generation of female painters with Li Qiujun, Chen Xiaocui, Zhou Qixia, Wu Qingxia, Lu Xiaoman, Chen Peiqiu, etc.
