Bice Lazzari

Bice Lazzari (1900 - 1981) was active/lived in Italy.  Bice Lazzari is known for Painting.

Bice Lazzari was born in Venezia in 1900. 

Lazzari studied first at the Benedetto Marcello Conservatory and then enrolled in the Decoration course at the Academy of Fine Arts in the lagoon city.

In the 1920's she began to paint, in particular she devoted herself to landscapes. The artists of the Burano school were linked to the tradition of Venetian landscape painting, while simultaneously carrying out intense activity in the design of objects related to the world of craftsmanship, and participating in numerous exhibitions of applied art.

In 1924 Lazzari participated for the first time in an exhibition of paintings in the exhibition of the Opera Bevilacqua La Masa, in 1927 she participated in the Brera National Exhibition in Milan and in 1928 in the Bottega D’Arte gallery in Venice.
The first solo show was held at the San Mosè gallery in 1929.
