Alberto Gonzalo (Born 1954) is active/lives in Spain.  Alberto Gonzalo is known for Abstract symbolic painting.

Painter, engraver, lithographer, teacher and researcher, Albert Gonzalo claims to live in symbiosis with his work. From the beginning he has been fascinated by the Orient, always his source of inspiration. He first became interested in Sufi philosophy, which Islamic thought opened the door for him. He undertook, in his readings and his travels, a journey through the religions and cultures of the entire East, from India to Japan through China; from Zen Buddhism to Taoism, without forgetting its classical Mediterranean roots.

Within this dynamic, Gonzalo has shown his work in Asian contemporary art museums, and has taken part in several group exhibitions in Japan, Taiwan and South Korea. Also, in 2005 he exhibited individually at the Nagoya University of Arts (Japan).
