Aiko (Born 1975) is active/lives in Japan.  Aiko is known for Painting.

Lady Aiko is a Japanese street artist based in Brooklyn, New York. Aiko was born in 1975. 

In the contemporary art world, she is one of the most important street artists of this millennium. "It's hard to be a girl and a graffiti artist", the artist has repeatedly said.

Aiko manages to rival Banksy, being highly respected for her large-scale work, and for her ability to combine Western art movements and Eastern technical artistic skills.

Aiko received a BFA from Tokyo Zokei University in the field of graphic design and filmmaking, before taking her MFA at The New School, New York. While at university in Tokyo, she set up a pirate television station that broadcast her own music videos and short films. In the mid-1990s, she moved to New York, where she apprenticed at the Brooklyn studio of artist Takashi Murakami.

She has worked with high-end fashion designer Louis Vuitton.
