An important Canadian painter, printmaker, illustrator, muralist, and commercial artist, William Perehudoff was born in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, raised in Langham, Saskatchewan (17 miles north west of Saskatoon) and has lived in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan since 1951. His work and life are discussed in virtually every recent comprehensive Canadian art history book, most major Canadian museums collect his works, and he is the recipient of numerous awards and honors including the Order of Canada*.
