Sinasi Bozatli was born in Ankara, graduated from the University of Gazi painting and sculpture, then attended the University of Applied Arts in Vienna, where he has lived and worked since 1987.  Since 1998, he has also had a studio in Long Iceland in New York.

A post-figurative period in the early 1990s led to a phase in which the representational was only hinted and further developed to pure abstraction.  But Bozatli's art always remained unchanged conscious striving for harmony in image design and visual impact.
