Henri Manguin (1874 - 1949) was active/lived in France.  Henri Manguin is known for Impressionist and fauve landscape painting, portraits.

That must be love: Henri and Jeanne Manguin had been married for fifty years when the artist died in Saint-Tropez in 1949. Fifty years in which they lived in Neuilly-sur-Seine, Paris, Switzerland, Brittany and on the Côte d’Azur. Fifty years in which Henri also became a famous “Fauvist” thanks to his wife, as she, whom he married in 1899 at the age of 25, was his favourite model. He painted her again and again, she served as his inspiration. After spending the First World War in Switzerland with their sons Claude and Pierre • Henri was exempt from military service • they returned to France after the war and purchased the Villa L’Oustalet in Saint-Tropez in 1928. Here Henri painted his beloved Jeanne on a deckchair, with the emerald-coloured waters of the Mediterranean shimmering in the background, framed by lush vegetation.
