Augustin Mervart (1889 - 1968) was active/lived in Czech Republic.  Augustin Mervart is known for Painting.

Augustin Mervart - after his studies at woodworking school in Valašské Mezirící in 1908 he painted landscapes.  During the war he was in Poland, Ukraine and Romania where he painted wooden churches and sun filled landscapes.  After the war he moved to Prerov.

It is said that he is the "faithfull recorder of the Becva river landscape".  In 1919 was accepted into Sdružení výtvarných umelcu moravských.  He held 23 independent exhibitions and his works were presented at many others both home and abroad.
