Alberta (Babcock) Von Ottenfeld (1910 - 1992) was active/lived in California, Michigan.  Alberta Von Ottenfeld is known for Public murals, painting, sculpture, teaching, Disney artist.

Mural artist, painter, sculptor, art instructor and educator, Alberta von Ottenfeld was born in Michigan but lived in California for most of her life.

She studied at the University of Michigan, the Art Students League of Los Angeles (under Stanton MacDonald Wright) and received a PhD in Design and Art Education from the International University, Quebec.

She worked for Disneyland, MGM Studios and Warner Brothers. She married the muralist Paul G. Babcock (1905-1976) and together, as WPA artists, they produced about fifty murals for public projects - and later - for companies and private clients. 

Although she and her husband settled in Glendora, they were very active on the art-scene of the Southland, through mounting art-exhibitions/demonstrations, training other artists and founding and leading Allied Art Councils.
