Arizona artist, Charles H. Pabst came to Arizona from northern California, where he was born and raised in Santa Clara Valley, California. He graduated from Arizona State University with a degree in Fine Arts and then decided to remain in Arizona working as a commercial artist for seven years. In 1978 Charles began painting full time as a fine artist.

Primarily a landscape artist, Pabst depicts the beauty of the American West. For subject matter Charles travels throughout the Southwest with his family to explore, photograph and paint the diverse panorama of the west.
