Yehoshua Grossbard was born 1902 in Poland and died 1992.  He helped his father in decorating ceilings, including Synagogue ceilings.  His father drew stencils on thick paper, and he cut them out with a pen-knife and developed his love for and talent in paper-cuts from this.

He was a founder of Ein Hod Artists' Village.  In the sixties he produced paper-cuts on festival and literary subjects.
