Tianci Su

Tianci Su (1922 - 2006) was active/lived in China.  Tianci Su is known for Painting.

Su Tianci Su Tianci was born in Yangjiang, Guangdong Province. In 1943 he entered Chongqing National Art Academy, majoring in Occidental brushwork. On graduating, he held a shortlived post at Guangdong province Art Academy, before beginning an apprentiship with Mr Lin Feng Mian. One after the other he taught in Guangdong province Art Academy, Hangzhou National Art Academy, School of Fine Art in Shandong University and the East China Art Academy. Currently, he is professor of Nanjing Academy of Art, a member of the China Artists' Association, director of Jiangsu Artist Association and advisor to the Jiangsu Oil Painting seminars. Professor Su is a reknown artist, his work having been selected for National Art Exhibitions since the 60"s. Most famous among his works are 'Twilight on the Terrace' and 'Drunk Poetry'. His work 'Early Spring' achieved Bronze Award at 'The 7th National Art Exhibition' and in 1987, he held a solo oil painting expo in Paris.
