Luis Rigalt Y Farriols (1814 - 1894) was active/lived in Spain.  Luis Rigalt Y Farriols is known for Landscape painting.

Lluís Rigalt was a Spanish painter, decorator, and draughtsman born in the 19th century. He specialized in landscape painting and studied at the La Lonja School in Barcelona. 

He accidentally replaced his father in his classes at La Lonja in 1841 and later became a teacher of perspective and landscape. He participated in Fine Arts Exhibitions in Barcelona and was awarded an honorable mention at the National Exhibition in Madrid in 1858. He was also an illustrator and produced decorations for various rooms and theaters. 

He was fascinated by the attitude of the landscape painters of the Barbizon School during his trip to Paris in 1885. He was the director of the La Lonja School between 1877 and 1878 and was highly regarded for his teaching work. He cultivated a highly elaborate landscape painting style and was noted for his numerous drawings. He is currently represented in various public and private collections
