Karl Goldammer (born March 3, 1950 in Vienna as Karl Strnad) is an Austrian painter and lithographer. He was born in 1950 in Vienna. From 1964 to 1969 he attended the Department of Prints and Drawings in Vienna, and in 1969 he came to the Academy of Applied Arts in Vienna.

Instead of his Czech family name, he signed his works with the name Goldammer, after the songbird.
He has been working as a freelance artist and lithographer since 1972, and his work has already been presented in numerous exhibitions at home and abroad.

His favorite motifs are architectural depictions (Vienna, Venice, etc.) in a very detailed and realistic painting style.

Karl Goldammer lives in Maria Anzbach, where is also the Goldammer Museum (Gallery Anzbach), which was closed in July 2018.
