Fred W. Weber (1890 - 1972) was active/lived in Pennsylvania.  Fred Weber is known for Rural landscape and floral still life painting, art materials chemist.

A successful artist, chemist, inventor and businessman, Fred W. Weber was the son of Fredrick W. Weber, Sr., who was the founder of the F. Weber Company, Inc. an American manufacturer and supplier of artists' materials. When he died in 1919, Fred W. Weber and his brother, Ernest Weber took over and were much responsible for product enhancement of the Company, which had been organized in 1853 in Philadelphia and became the oldest and one of the largest manufacturers of art materials in the United States.

Fred W. Weber , Jr. served as Technical Director and was successfully committed to the development of safer art materials. responsible for much of the innovation in product development to his retirement in 1967. With his long list of innovations, a majority of which decreased the toxicity of necessary painting supplies, Fred W. Weber elevated the company to further prominence in the US art supplies market.
