Eduardo Bortk (Born 1950) is active/lives in Brazil.  Eduardo Bortk is known for Super real still life, portrait and figurative painting.

Brazilian, born in 1950 of Russian descent and originally with the last name of Bortkiewicz, Eduardo Bortk started to paint when was 18, and then always figuratively.  Son of a mother who is a painter, he is in fact a self-made artist.
 
His transformation into a realist painter began in the year 2000 when he started to make use of his skill in interpretating reality, to make detailed presentation of objects of everyday life.  He continues to paint human figures and portraits, which are sought out in his hometown of Rio de Janeiro.
 
In 2010, he finished a series of twelve (12) paintings that he calls  " Chinese White " .   This collection, intended to be shown in China, depicts an homage to the 12 Chinese emperors of the Ming Dynasty.
 
Eduardo Bortk is a laureate member of the Academia Brasileira de Belas Artes.
