Obituary
Frank Anderson, the artist, died at his home, in Peekskill, on Thursday, after a brief illness from congestion of the brain. He was born in Mount Sterling, Ohio, in 1844, and had been a prominent resident of Peekskill since 1863. He has long been known as a contributor to the Academy of Design exhibition of paintings. 

He was of a quiet and modest demeanor.  Lately he had turned his attention to etching. His mind had also an inventive bent, and important advances in automatic telegraphy have been obtained by means of his inventions. His principal inventions were in the electric line.
