Vladimir Komarek

Vladimir Komarek (1928 - 2002) was active/lived in Czech Republic.  Vladimir Komarek is known for Painting.

One of the most distinctive Czech artists,Vladimír Komárek, has built his own painting style based on poetics scenes and Biblical motifs created with pastel tones and imbued with soft melancholy.

The painter began his studies at the glass school in Železný Brod and subsequently continued in the painting studio at the Prague Academy. From there, two at a time years he transferred to Professor Karel Štipl at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design, where he graduated in 1954.

He was valued not only as a painter, but also as a graphic artist and illustrator. Komárek presented his work at more than 130 exhibitions in the Czech Republic and abroad.
Vladimír Komárek is his surroundings was often referred to as the narrator. His paintings are not just a statement, but also a story alone. They carry melancholic lyricism and poetics. His work follows the glory of Czech poetics and imagination, which he made famous before him, for example Jan Zrzavý.
