Ukrainian painter. Corresponding member of the USSR Academy of Arts (1958). Member of the Academy of Arts of the USSR (1962). People's Artist of the USSR (1963). He worked in the field of easel painting. The artist is characterized by a pastous manner of writing with active modeling of the form of light and shadow. Awarded the silver medal of the International Exhibition in Brussels (1958), the silver medal of the USSR Academy of Arts (1960). The works of the author are in the National Art Museum, Kharkov Art Gallery, Simferopol Art Gallery, Odessa Art Gallery.
