Zakharov Fyodor Zakharovich

Zakharov Zakharovich is known for Painting.

Honoured Art Worker of the Ukrainian SSR. People Artist of the Ukrainian SSR. Laureate of USSR State Prize. Representative of Soviet impressionism school. He studied at the M.I. Kalinin Moscow Art and Industry College (1935-1941) and at the Surikov Moscow State Art Institute (1943-1950) under A.V. Lentulov and I.I. Chekmazov. 

His graduation work, Razin, was painted under the guidance of G.G. Riazhsky. First exhibited in 1953. Zakharov’s one-man shows were held in Leningrad and Simferopol in 1959, in Kiev in 1960, and in Moscow in 1965. He taught in the Simferopol Art School. 

The main theme of his work was landscape. 

His works are in Tretyakov State Gallery, State Russian Museum, in in the Simferopol Art Museum, the Alupka Palace Museum, and in the Novokuznetsk Soviet Fine Art Museum.
