Valentin Danilovitch Bernadsky was a Ukrainian artist born in 1917. He studied at the Academy of Arts under Professor A.P. Eisner and the Leningrad Art School.

Bernadsky was a member of the Union of Artists of the USSR and participated in various exhibitions throughout his career. He was one of the founders of the "Crimean school" of painting and was known for his thematic paintings, portraits, landscapes, and still life works.
